Who Are We

New Heights Bentonville Children's Ministry is here to guide kids toward a deeper faith in Jesus through engaging worship, relational discipleship, and partnership with parents.

Engaging worship:

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of god belongs to such as these." (Luke 18:16)

Jesus wanted the children to come to Him, and we want kids to want to come to church!

We prepare our Sunday morning Children's ministry service with age appropriate, fun, and engaging Bible stories, worship, activities, and crafts for kids ages birth - 4th grade during both services (9am & 10:45am).

Relational discipleship:

"Go and make disciples..." (Matthew 28:19)

We believe that making disciples is the mission of every follower of Christ. This is why we make intentional discipleship a priority in our ministry. We believe that truth travels best down the road of relationships, which is why our ministry is organized around caring adult volunteer leaders who have a vision to help your kids know and follow God.

All of our volunteers are interviewed, have references, and are background checked in order to ensure the best and safest enviroment for your kids. To view our safety policies and procedures click here.

Partnership with Parents:

"You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." (Deut. 11:19).

We believe when we combine the influence of home and church we can have a greater influence on the faith of kids together. We provide parents with many resources to help continue the Sunday conversation into the Monday application.

What does Sunday Morning Look Like?

Early Childhood (Birth - PreK)

Nursery & Toddlers (Birth to 2 years old): We engage babies and toddlers in worship and play, helping them trust that church is a safe and fun place.

Preschool & Pre-K (2 - 5 years old): Preschool and Pre-K kids learn through games, crafts, worship, and teaching of the Bible. Our curriculum focuses on teaching kids that God made them; God loves them; and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

Elementary (K - 4th Grade)

We engage elementary aged kids in activities, worship, and teaching in both the large group & small groups on Sunday mornings. We organize our elementary small groups by age and gender to help produce meaningful relationships and authentic conversations.
